“Activity App Shoe Tying 1″ is based on the Activity Trainer but for a single activity. So far it is available for the iPad (English only) and we will release it for the android tablets.

If you have children or students that are not yet tying their shoes, you will want our shoe tying app!

This app combines systematic teaching and video modeling into a practical teaching environment simple enough for parents and others not highly trained in these methods. This app is an educational power tool that anyone can use!

We are targeting typical and special needs so if it really hits it could create the revenue to support significantly more development. We have a range of planned apps including players for the full DT Trainer & Activity Trainer programs.

Our shoe tying app should allow you to teach a child or student earlier and with less effort and frustration, or in many cases even teach individuals that had previously not been able to learn to tie their shoes. Learning to tie shoes creates more independence, confidence, and skills that cross over into other daily living and vocational areas.

DT Trainer: The DT Trainer is like having a virtual teaching assistant for the classroom or home. This tutorial will teach you how to add DT Trainer as an exception to Windows Firewall. The tutorial will cover XP, Vista, and Windows 7. There are many reasons that you will be using this tutorial. However, the most common reasons for needing to add DT Trainer as an exception to Windows Firewall will be to register or download update content. Listed below are common errors that are can be associated with adding DT Trainer as an exception to Windows Firewall.

• Error 13



Your authorization code has already been registered. You may need to contact AES to make your license available for re-registration however, attempt to add DT Trainer as an exception to your firewall and this error message may clear itself.

• Any Errors relating to not being able to communicate with AES Servers

It is common for this error to occur only if the user has no internet connection. If your computer does have an internet connection please double check to ensure that the connection to the internet is still okay and continue with our tutorial to add DT Trainer as an exception to your firewall.

• A “no internet connection” error

If you receive a message during registration that tells you no internet connection can be found though you do have a connection, it is likely that your firewall is blocking the program.

• Error 400

The HTTP error 400, bad request, means that the Web server received a request that it could not process, either because it is not configured to do so, or because it expects certain headers or parameters in the request that are not present. Please attempt to use this tutorial. If you continue to receive this error, contact AES support at (803)233-0541 or support@dttrainer.com.

AES offers a Special Education Site License for DT Trainer, Activity Trainer or the Power Pack (DTT + AT). The site license allows unlimited installations of a product for use in school district facilities with students on IEPs. The license is based on the number of students in the district and those students on IEPs. Opting for a site license will allow the most flexible use of the DT Trainer and Activity Trainer as well as no longer having to track individual registration codes!

In classrooms, you would be able to have any number of installations to allow more students to use the program at the same time. The site license also comes with 1 year of updates and support.

The Arts and Graphics category is a popular choice and can benefit a wide variety of individuals, from the early to advanced learners.

The new Image Building Shape Trails reinforcer, includes a variety of shapes to choose from. Once you select a shape, you drag it around the screen, leaving a colorful trail. Multiple shapes can be selected and added to the image within allotted time.

The Eye Hand activities are not only entertaining but are also skill builders, promoting basic eye-hand coordination.

The new Balloon Pop reinforcer improves eye-hand skills by asking you to shoot as many moving balloons as you can within 10 seconds. When you click or touch a balloon, it makes a pop sound & disappears. At the end of ten seconds, it will tell you how many balloons you hit.

DT Trainer

The DT Trainer (DTT) is like having an extra teaching assistant in the classroom. The product incorporates principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to engage and motivate even some of the most challenging students to educate. Usually, even very low functioning students with autism or other learning disabilities can learn independently on our product with a touchscreen or mouse, but the product can also accommodate up to typically developing young students.

The DTT uses a mouse, touch screen or single or double switch to accommodate a range of students. The targeted development range is 2-9 years old but since we do not baby the student, we have many substantially delayed middle and high school students using the product. DT Trainer Español

We also have a Spanish version: DT Trainer Español. This version has 120+ content programs in the developmental range 2-6 years old. The administration is in English but the student just sees and hears Spanish. This is a great tool to help Spanish speakers continue to advance academically while they are learning sufficient English to be successful in English only classes.

The Activity Trainer (AT) teaches skills improving acquisition rates across a wide verity of skills like academic, daily living, social, recreation, communication, and vocational. The Activity Trainer makes Video Modeling (VM) practical. VM has over 20 years of research showing improvements in actuation rates across a wide variety of skills and students.

The improvement can be quite substantial saving significant instructional time or even enabling acquisition where previous teaching methods failed.
