February Special: Extra 5% Off All Site Licenses

AES offers a Special Education Site License for DT Trainer, Activity Trainer or the Power Pack (DTT + AT). The site license allows unlimited installations of a product for use in school district facilities with students on IEPs. The license is based on the number of students in the district and those students on IEPs. Opting for a site license will allow the most flexible use of the DT Trainer and Activity Trainer as well as no longer having to track individual registration codes!

In classrooms, you would be able to have any number of installations to allow more students to use the program at the same time. The site license also comes with 1 year of updates and support.

For those districts that are already AES customers, we provide a significant credit from your previously purchased licenses toward your new site license.

Out of a national average annual expenditure of $12,000 per student in special education, or $18,000 per student for autism, you can provide a significant educational impact for an insignificant cost per student. The teaching efficiency of our tools is a tiny fraction the cost of human instruction.

Hello! My name is Stephen Garner and I have autism. I work for Accelerations Educational Software.
Having autism is never easy – sometimes you slow down and have thoughts that will not go away. Yet,
I keep going on and never give up – no matter the cost.

I enjoy art and especially 3D animation – a God given talent that I use for my job. I am very grateful to
Mr. Karl Smith for giving me this opportunity to be productive for others who need to learn, as well.

So, if anyone says to you that you cannot do it or you have reached your potential – not true!
All continue to grow and develop in one’s brain. My best advice along life’s journey is to believe in yourself, you are here for a reason,
And seek the One who made you and thank Him often!
You will be glad you did – enjoy life!!!

The new Fairy Forest reinforcer is not only fun, but improves eye-hand skills.

The evil witch has turned all the Fairy’s forest friends into creepy creatures. Help save the forest by zapping as many creepy
creatures as you can, returning them to their formerly friendly selves. After you change back 10 creatures, the dark forest becomes bright and colorful!

We have created useful documents and links related to the DT Trainer and Activity Trainer to help customers understand and advocate for our products.

We are creating a community of users connected through some of the new social media outlets. You can now “Like us on Facebook” and “Follow us on Twitter”.Thanks for your support!

The AES Mission

With our mission to create effective and affordable educational tools for some of the most difficult to educate individuals, we are now in over
1000 school districts in the US. Our web site is
  www.dttrainer.com. The
  company
was founded by a parent of a child with autism
  (founder,
  article,
  video).
The company moves research to practice addressing fundamental issues and is guided by
input from researchers, customers, and our products advisory board
  (link
  , pdf).

The DT Trainer and Activity Trainer were created to teach individuals with autism, yet school districts use the products widely beyond autism with up to 33%
of students in special education. Both products act as virtual teaching assistants at a very tiny fraction of the cost of a person. With current budget
limitations, the products offer a way to
improve instructional capability highly leveraging both staff and budget.

Free 30 Day Trials

There are free 30 day trials available for both of our products by download from our website. If you decide to purchase, we have great pricing at about 1/10th to 1/15th typical special education pricing. We offer a number of licensing options including permanent licenses for individual computers, individual students, and district wide site licenses.

Overview and Training Webinars

AES offers free overview and training webinars. You can check out the webinar schedule at
www.dttrainer.com/training/webinars. We can also schedule webinars
to fit your group’s needs. Just email your request to
  webinars@dttrainer.com.

DT Trainer

The DT Trainer (DTT) is like having an extra teaching assistant in the classroom. The product incorporates principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to engage and motivate even some of the most challenging students to educate. Usually, even very low functioning students with autism or other learning disabilities can learn independently on our product with a touchscreen or mouse, but the product can also accommodate up to typically developing young students.

The DTT uses a mouse, touch screen or single or double switch to accommodate a range of students. The targeted development range is 2-9 years old but since we do not baby the student, we have many substantially delayed middle and high school students using the product. There are over 256 content programs released for the DTT and there are 100s of selectable reinforcers.

DT Trainer Español

We also have a Spanish version: DT Trainer Español. This version has 120+ content programs in the developmental range 2-6 years old. The administration is in
English but the student just sees and hears Spanish. This is a great tool to help Spanish speakers continue to advance academically while they are learning
sufficient English to be successful in English only classes.

Activity Trainer

The Activity Trainer (AT) teaches skills improving acquisition rates across a wide verity of skills like academic, daily living, social, recreation, communication, and vocational. The Activity Trainer makes Video Modeling (VM) practical. VM has over 20 years of research showing improvements in actuation rates across a wide variety of skills and students.

The improvement can be quite substantial saving significant instructional time or even enabling acquisition where previous teaching methods failed. The AT is the first designed player for video modeling supporting task analysis, sequences, data collection, and organization by student. There are over 300 activities in the product and you also have the ability to create your own.

The Arts and Graphics category is a popular choice and can benefit a wide variety
of individuals, from the early to advanced learners.

NEW: “Jack-O-Lantern” Reinforcer

The new Image Building “Jack-O-Lantern” reinforcer allows you to create your own unique Jack-O-Lantern by selecting from a variety of pumpkins, and then choosing cutout shapes for the eyes, nose and mouth. Once you have selected your cutout shapes you can drag them around the pumpkin to place them just where you want them. To complete your scene, you can choose from one of five spooky backgrounds, as well as moving the entire pumpkin within the scene to create just the look you want! Eerie organ music plays as you create your Jack-O-Lantern. The music may turned or off with a button at the bottom of the screen.

NEW: “Geometric Shapes1″ and “Bird” Puzzles

We’ve added TWO NEW Puzzles to the Games category. The puzzle pieces are “dragged” to the puzzle guide. Once a piece is close to its spot, it “snaps” in upon release.

“Geometric Shapes2″ & “Bird” are inset puzzles, designed to support the kindergarten curriculum concepts of recognition, identification, and combination of geometric shapes to create objects in the environment.

UPDATED: “Follower” Reinforcer

Basic Cause and Effect reinforcers require the student to perform simple interactions.

“Follower” has been updated and can now be viewed on the full screen. Move the mouse around the white screen. This will cause the ball’s color to change and a trail of increasingly smaller animated balls will follow. Move the ball quickly or slowly to create interesting visual patterns.

UPDATED: “Whack-A-Spider” and “Whack-An-Alien” Game Reinforcers

The Games reinforcers are not only fun, but promote basic eye-hand coordination.

“Whack-A-Spider” & “Whack-An-Alien” have been updated with fun new images and sound effects. Swat those pesky aliens or spiders by clicking on them as they move around the screen.

Select the check for updates from the DT Trainer. You will need to be in your update and support period to download the updates. If your updates and support has expired, contact AES for a “Continuation Bundle” quote giving you another year of updates and support.
