DT Trainer Version 2.0.7

NEW FEATURES:
There are several major new features:
1. New users will be able to get started a lot easier than before. There are sample students to demonstrate to the teacher or parent what the student will see and do. There is also an EZ Create feature that will automatically set up a student based on the student's chronological age and developmental age. The teacher or parent will be able to make further adjustments, but usually the EZ Create will provide a good starting point.

2. Experienced teachers will benefit from the ability to create student templates and clone them to create students. If the teacher has students that are at a similar developmental level, this feature will allow the teacher to quickly set up new students.

3. Another major feature adds switch support for individuals that can not use a mouse or touch screen. This will enable students with CP and other physical or cognitive impairments that prevent the use of other input devices.

Sample Students: Upon installation, now there are example students to help a new user (teacher, parent) to quickly understand what the DT Trainer looks like to a student.

EZ Create Student: This feature especially helps a new user (teacher, parent) to set up a student. This type of set up may not produce the optimum set up for the student, but helps the teacher to get started. This feature gets the student in the "ball park" and then the teacher can make further adjustments before or after the student starts using the DT Trainer. A new user now has a "Quick Start" option.

Clone Student: Now you can clone any student or template student to create a new student. This feature saves you time if you have a number of students to create that are of similar level. If desired, you can make further adjustments to the created student after cloning.

Student Templates: The student templates are used in the EZ Create method of creating a new student and can be used in the Clone method. This release comes with a range of student templates and the user can create templates by creating a student called, for example, "Joe Template" or "Low Template". Templates can not be trained but are there to facilitate creating new students.

Single & Double Switch support: Now besides the Mouse and Touch Screen input options, we support Single and Double Switches. These devices aid individuals with CP or other physical or mental impairments that prevent the ability to use touch screens or mice.

Option: The DT Trainer will now by default provide tokens for reinforcement for low training profiles (Early Learner 1 & 2), and will NOT provide tokens for higher training profiles (Intermediate Learner 1 & 2, Advanced Learner 1 & 2). This brings the DT Trainer in line with preferred ABA methods. The student will still receive praise for correct prompted trials but students with higher level profiles will not receive tokens for the same trials. Unprompted trials (where the target and distracters are across the bottom of the screen) will always provide tokens toward reinforcement for correct responses. The default behavior can of course be changed.

Option: Display the session time (as of the beginning of each trail) and the session duration at the top of the training screen. The default is to display the times. This helps the teacher see how much time the student has spent and remains in the session.

Test Dialog: Now displays the current state of each item: U (Untrained), T (Train), R (Random), M (Maintenance), and P (Proficient). This helps the teacher understand what items to test.
