DT Trainer Updates

You can now download the DT Trainer auto-update version that will show you when new content programs, reinforcers, and patches are available. Web connected DT Trainer installations will periodically check for updates and facilitate installation at your discretion. You will no longer need to manually download updates from our website. This will make it easy for you to keep up with our continued expansion of the DT Trainer. We will be able to release content programs, reinforcers, and features as they are developed instead of waiting until the next major DT Trainer release.

Any DT Trainer 2.0 or later installation will be able to view available updates. However, to install additional programs and features, you must have a current update and support agreement. Each DT Trainer system includes one year of upgrades and support. If you are beyond your one year agreement and have not yet purchased a Continuation Bundle, we encourage you to take advantage of all the new content and other updates by purchasing continuation bundles for your DT Trainer installations.

Version: 2.3.2

Before Installation:

Check the version number that appears on the top title bar of the DT Trainer Administration program (click here for an example ). If your version is prior to 2.3.2, then you should update your copy of the DT Trainer.
- If you have a version between 2.0.0.0 and the current version, then you simply need a patch.
- If you have version 1.0 or the "2.0 prerelease" of the DT Trainer, then you will need the full installation (see the bottom of this page) to update to the most recent version.
***Important***: Before downloading, please check our Installation Page and follow the steps to ensure that your computer is up to date, and that you have all necessary third party components installed on your computer. Completing these steps now will prevent possible problems with running the DT Trainer.

Note: The patches below are best downloaded on a high speed connection. Dial up connections will take significantly longer.

Patches (for version 2.0.0 and newer):

If your DT Trainer computer is connected to the internet
This patch is intended for internet connected computer systems. Click the link that corresponds to your country (United States or Canada) and click "Open" or "Run...". This will launch an installation program that will install the DT Trainer patch. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If your DT Trainer computer is not connected to the internet, but you have high-capacity removable media
(flash drive, CDR, etc.)
This patch is intended for systems that are not connected to the internet, but have high capacity removable media such as zip disks, memory sticks, burnable CDs, etc. Click the link that corresponds to your country (United States or Canada) and click "Save". Browse to a location on your computer where you will choose to save the file. Once you have the file on the high capacity media, take the media to the DT Trainer system and execute the file that you have saved. This will launch an installation program that will install the patch, and after which simply follow the onscreen instructions.

If your DT Trainer computer is not connected to the internet, and you will be using floppy disks
This patch is intended for systems that are not connected to the internet and have only floppy disk drives (i.e. without high capacity removable media) available for moving data. You will need five (US) or seven (Canada) floppy disks in order to complete this patch process.

Click on the link that corresponds to your country (United States or Canada) and click "Open" or "Run...". When the download is complete, a self-extracting archive will open. Extract this archive to your desktop, and all the files will either appear in a "DT Trainer 2.3 US Patch" or "DT Trainer 2.3 Canada Patch" folder, depending on the file you have downloaded. Within this folder is a "ReadMe.txt" file, which contains the instructions for completing the patch process. Please read this file and follow all the instructions.

AES will be releasing additional content and reinforcers via downloadable updates. AES strongly recommends connecting your computer system to the internet. If this is not an option, AES recommends purchasing a USB memory key (also called memory stick, or flash disk) or other high capacity removable media. The USB memory devices are inexpensive and make the transfer of downloaded data much easier.

Full Installation (for versions prior to 2.0.0)

This full Discrete Trial Trainer download can either install a new copy of the DT Trainer version 2.3, or it can upgrade a version 1.0 installation to version 2.3. Click on the link below and save the file to your computer, then run the saved file from your hard drive.
