Virtual DT Trainer System Requirements
The DT Trainer uses Amazon AppStream to provide the remote session to users on Windows, Macs, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android devices. Devices need to have a screen resolutions of at least 1024×768 pixels, so smart phones and low-resolution tablets are not supported. The device needs sufficient memory to run well, such as at least 4 Gb on Windows computers. The device also requires a good wireless or cable connection to high-speed internet. Wireless devices should have a strong connection. If latency issues interfere with the DT Trainer, move the device closer to the router or connect via cable.
Users can access the DT Trainer / AppStream through an HTML5-capable web browser on a desktop computer such as a Windows, Mac, Chromebook, or Linux computer. HTML5-capable web browsers that can be used include the following:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Internet Explorer version 11 or later
No browser extensions or plugins are required to use AppStream in a web browser. Users can also access AppStream on the following browsers and devices:
- Chrome or Safari on an iPad (iOS 11 or later)
- Android (Android 8 or later)
- Microsoft Surface Pro or Windows 10 tablet
AppStream does not support devices that have screen resolutions smaller than 1024×768 pixels.
